The AWOW Video Doorbell* also allows you to detect and communicate with visitors when you are outside your home.

The AWOW video doorbell can be operated with the corresponding apps for Android or iOS. As with the other affordable video doorbells, pairing with other devices is not possible, so you can only be reached via this doorbell if you have your smartphone with you. It offers the usual app notifications when it rings and motion detection, but also 1080p HD video, two-way audio, and Alexa compatibility.

If you want the Amazon Blink Video Doorbell to operate wirelessly, installation is very simple, a mounting kit is included.

Only the technical details reveal why the Amazon Blink Video Doorbell is so inexpensive:

The horizontal viewing range of 135° is much closer than most other vendors. The included two AA lithium batteries are not rechargeable and have to be bought anew every time they are changed. This continuously causes new costs and is also problematic from a climate protection point of view.

When purchasing a single Blink Video Doorbell, video recording capability and two-way audio are only available briefly when the doorbell has just been pressed or the camera has captured a motion event.
